Bespectacled, fast-witted sommelier Matthew Swieboda and loud-shirted international businessman Nathanial Hatwell walk into a former stockroom in the Darlinghurst backstreets and the Love Tilly Group journey begins. Love, Tilly Devine, an intimate, energetic wine bar, was followed by Potts Point neighbourhood favourite Dear Sainte Éloise in 2017. Honing its focus on food the group recruited Michelin-starred chef Scott McComas-Williams for the opening of Ragazzi Wine and Pasta, Fabbrica Pasta Shop and Palazzo Salato.
As the group continues to grow, the goal stays the same: creating curious, considered, uncomplicated hospitality in proudly obscure locations. That’s the Love Tilly Group.
